HORIZONTAL CONTROL
To find street horizontal control, select "Search Ties by Street Name/Grid", enter the street name, or if you know the subdivision, select "Search Ties By Subdivision", enter the subdivision name, select "Search", and then select the record that you need. To print, right click on the record, then select print. This database is continually being updated.
VERTICAL CONTROL
To find a benchmark within the City of Sacramento, select "Search Benchmarks", enter the page and grid from the Thomas Guide of the area you need, then select the record of the benchmark you need. To print, right click on the record, then select print.
The City of Sacramento vertical datum contained herein is based upon a plane datum with a reference to four U.S. Government monuments. Only these four monuments serve as the basis for the City datum. These monuments are as follows:
297-C3D, 297-C3E, 297-D3B, 297-D4B, as described in the City's benchmark database.
